What will I be doing?
You'll be located by the entrance of the building and in the Marble Hall, welcoming people, showing them where to go, and having friendly conversations. You may accompany a few people to the Sanctuary or lift, help look after the coffee station and connect visitors with members.

Why is it important?
It can often be daunting entering a building that you have never been to before (or don’t attend often), so we invite people to volunteer for this role and not to be shy in engaging with all who come through our doors.

How long is a shift?
On Fridays, we ask Welcomers to be there at 6:00pm to welcome and stay until 7:30pm so they can help hand out challah and wine at Kiddush. On Saturdays, we ask Welcomers to arrive at 9:45am and stay until 11:00am.
