This Mitzvah Day we encouraging everyone coming into Kent House the week before and after Mitzvah Day to bring an item or two to donate;
- Toiletries to donate to the Marylebone Project, who provide a life-changing service for homeless women.
- Key items are: shampoo, conditioner, soap, make up, sanitary product##
2. Specific food items to donate to The Trussell Trust, who provide emergency food and support to people facing hardship.

- Jam/Marmalade
- Tinned meat
- Tinned vegetables (e.g. carrots, peas etc)
- Coffee
- Tinned fruit
- UHT milk - Semi-Skimmed
- Fruit juice
- Powdered Milk (not baby)
- Mashed Potatoes
- Puddings
Non-food items the Trussell Trust also accepts:

- Toiletries – toilet paper, shower gel, shaving gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand wipes.
- Household items – laundry liquid detergent, laundry powder, washing up liquid (small medium/sizes), Toilet Cleaner.
3. Second hand books, CDs, DVDs or records to donate to Langdon’s Social Enterprise. Langdon is a Jewish Learning Disability & Autism charity.
Books not accepted:
- Books that are fully in Hebrew (a mixture of English & Hebrew is fine)
- Jewish prayer books
- Encyclopedias
