The community stands for the Memorial Service.
The leader mentions that we will now be thinking of those that are no longer with us. And that when we read Al Kein on page 68, we will be thinking of them, particularly those whose names and relations are on the Service Sheet under Yahrtzeit Observations - they should then read out both those who died and those mourning.
The leader then mentions that when we read the words of Kaddish, we'll also be thinking of all those who passed in the last year - they should then read out the names of those that have died (not the mourners) from the Service Sheet.
The leader should ask the community to stand as we turn to page 68.
They should lead them in El Male Rachamim, inserting the names of each Yahrtzeit name with "ve nishmat" ahead of each name.
The leader notifies Kaddish can be found halfway down page 37 and leads the community in reciting it.
Afterwards, the community may be seated.
