Afternoon Teas

At least four times a year, our Chesed Team invites senior members of our community to an Afternoon Tea. These events are always a highlight of our calendar as members have the chance to connect with one another, share a delicious tea and enjoy some entertainment. 

At our most recent Chanukah Tea, we also invited parents and their children aged 0-2yrs, to join this intergenerational event, bringing together younger and older generations to celebrate the festival of lights together! It was such a joy to see the eldest member of our community next to our youngest, all sharing the wonderful festive traditions that are so special to us.

We look to members to volunteer for our teas by:

• Helping prepare food;
• Serving Teas and Coffees
• Welcoming members and 'hosting' tables
• Helping plan the entertainment
• Serving and Clearing away after the event
• Getting to know other members of the community.
